Branault Braig Theophilain Iseterre was born the youngest of six children on a small Shroud settlement inside the Bramble Patch. He was taught to wield a bow from a young age by his father, who was a rather celebrated member of the Gods' Quiver and would join the archers guild at age fifteen.While there, the teenager soon became disillusioned with Gridania and its politics as he witnessed prejudice towards Keeper and Duskwight members of the guild. A particular traumatic encounter with a wood wailer around this age would push his anger further. It wasn't long before he left and fully channeled his frustrations into music.He used this as a way to make a living at the Druthers in South Shroud for some time, performing almost nightly for a crowd. It was there that he would befriend a group of bandits and find some comradery in how they viewed themselves as misfits unable to fit in with Gridanian society. Braig found himself aiding them in various criminal activities, mostly robbing nobles or other well-off folk. One day however, the young man would be an accomplice in the murder of a wailer and shortly after celebrating his eighteenth nameday, he was caught and imprisoned in one of Gridania's gaols for some time.Upon his release, he left the Shroud to reside in La Noscea and has found more stable work as a hunter. Whether he take on a job to kill a few animals, capture a person of interest or even take down a rare and dangerous mark for glory - the Elezen will put his life on the line if the coin is good.TROPES.

Braig is rarely seen around Gridania and the Shroud these days but those who have frequented the Druthers may have heard tales of a young bard with a reputation for tavern brawls and womanizing.
